Central to the Beltico Group’s philosophy of developing luxury resorts is the provision of outstanding, specially designed, world-class golf courses.

Following the successful construction and opening of the Praia D’El Rey course in 1997, (now rated among the top five in Portugal and the only course in Portugal to be listed in Golf World's "World Top 100 Golf Courses"), Scottish Golf Construction was set up to work with leading golf designers to create courses of the highest standards in design, construction and maintenance.

It is now the largest golf construction company in Portugal. To date it has built six courses in the country and is currently building and tendering for several other projects worldwide, including Curaçao, Nicaragua and Italy.

The vision is always to create championship level courses that combine picturesque fairways and surroundings with the offer of a challenging round for professional and amateur players alike.

Once the golf courses are built, the Group manages every aspect of their running, maintenance and promotion.
